Our Story

In electric subways and trains, the third rail is the one next to the train that provides the energy to move. That's what Third Rail, the band does!

The Third Rail was pieced together from some of the best musicians we have played with over the years. We have a shared passion in performing high quality, diverse party music that gets everyone on the dance floor. We practice hard and strive to get the sound just right for every riff and vocal harmony. Everyone in the band sings, adding extra richness and authenticity to the numbers.

Third Rail comes with our own professional PA system, including mixer, QA speakers, a hefty subwoofer to thump your chest, and in-ear monitors (that means less unwanted stage noise bleeding into the mics and messing up the mix!). If your venue already has a front-of-house system, we are happy to plug into that.
